We designed it for both comfort & convenience, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen with *everything* you could need, and a spacious living area that makes it feel like home away from home. We've installed split air conditioning & overhead fans in all rooms, and enjoy the added convenience of in-unit laundry. KIND WORDS FROM OUR PAST GUESTS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We absolutely enjoyed this updated, well-maintained condo right on the water. There was plenty of space for the two of us and our four teenagers. From watching the sea turtles swim by, to having a spot for the kids to jump in the ocean and do some snorkeling or to relax in the pool was amazing. This resort was clean and everyone was super friendly. Very convenient location, we will definitely be back! Family of 8 (six adults and 2 children) spent 10 nights at this condo in May. Great location. Walking distance to Kaanapali beaches and short drive to Napili and Kapalua. Nicely renovated and good amenities. Access to the ocean in the back and nice pool in the front of the building. Great bbq facilities and sitting areas ocean side. Highly recommended. We absolutely Loved our stay at Makani Sands unit 304. The view was incredible and often brought tears to my eyes. We watched the whales and sea turtles right from the lanai. What a bonus to have 2 lanais, one off the family room and the other off the largest bedroom upstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 and we never felt on top of each other. They would light tiki torches each night along the oceanfront which we enjoyed and gave an awesome atmosphere after sunset. We plan to be back and would definitely book here again !
House Rules
House Rules & Guest Agreement We welcome you to our beautiful home at Makani Sands 304! The terms of our Rental Agreement are provided below and are intended to help you enjoy a safe & reliable stay. By booking this home, you are agreeing to these terms: • In order to book this property, you must be over 25 years old. • Staff at the Building is not associated with the Host. For Guest questions or concerns relating to the accommodations, including maintenance issues, please contact Host directly through the booking channel. In the rare event of an emergency, our on-island contact information is provided in the unit. • Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00pm - 8:00am. Please help us maintain a peaceful environment for all by keeping music and/or excessive noise outdoors to a respectful minimum at all times. Parties / events, lack of decorum and disruptive noise are prohibited; If neighbors are disturbed, we reserve the right to ask the tenant to vacate the premises without refund. • No Smoking Policy - All properties are non-smoking or vaping. Violation will result in a damage liability of up to $2,500 for any discovered damage to furniture or any odors. • No pets allowed. If any sign of any pet is discovered, the Guest authorizes an additional charge of minimum $500 cleaning fee. • Occupancy Limits - The HOA permitted unit occupancy is a maximum of 8 persons. Children over the age of 2 years are included in total occupancy. Should occupancy exceed the number of persons listed on reservation, Host reserves the right to deny access or to require all guests to vacate the premises without refund. • Community Pool – Pool is heated year round. Note it may be chemically serviced and cleaned regularly during your stay. • Splint A/C units - To help us maintain an efficient and sustainable living space, we appreciate your cooperation in turning off the A/C when you leave the unit. Please note that our A/C units may shut off if the lanai doors are left open. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us create a more sustainable environment. • Maintenance - We appreciate when Guests report any maintenance issues immediately, and will make every effort to repair any maintenance issue in a timely manner, seeking solutions that prioritize guest safety and comfort. • Insects - Bugs are a well known part of Hawaii life. While we do perform routine maintenance for pest control, you may occasionally see more insects depending on the season. Keeping the screen door closed and keeping food well-sealed will minimize insects entering the home. • Cancellations - Guest cancellation policy of the booking platform will apply. Should the property become unavailable due to circumstances beyond its control, Host reserves the right to change the reservation accommodation or refund the full balance. • Taxes - If not collected at the time of booking, Hawaii state and local taxes at current local rate may be requested prior to check-in. • Security Deposit / Incidentals - A deposit for incidentals may be required to hold a reservation. Guests will be held liable for replacement and/or repair of items that are damaged and beyond normal wear and tear. Guests may be charged at the Host’s discretion for any costs or damages caused to the property including, but not limited to: furnishings, landscaping, misuse of appliances, extra cleaning fees, unauthorized pets or incidentals based on fee-schedule. No charges will be processed without prior written notice. • Check in/out - Occupancy outside standard check in/out times may be granted on pre approval basis only. Failure to abide by the check-in and check-out times will result in a fine (see Fee schedule) • Lost & Found - Our team will do our best to locate your lost items after check-out. We are not liable for any lost items. Please note that all shipping is at the traveler's expense. There is a minimum $25 shipping cost. By booking this home, ALL GUESTS hereby acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, neighborhood rules and city laws and ordinances. IMPORTANT: We do Host our unit personally. Please avoid approaching the on-site office or the Makani Sands Vacation Rental office staff. For any assistance during your stay, please reach out to us directly via booking channel chat- we'd be happy to help! For emergency assistance, you may reach out to our on-island contact listed in the unit. This property features two levels, so we kindly recommend supervising young children to ensure their safety. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 8 AM daily, so please help us maintain a peaceful atmosphere for all guests. For everyone's comfort, pets and smoking are not allowed in this unit. Parking on-site: limited to 1 vehicle. For additional parking, there is free neighborhood parking or paid parking just 2 minute walk from the unit. Makani Sands offers a shared elevator for easy access to all levels. The beach in front of the property is seasonal, with the most sand available during the summer months. We’re lucky to have resident turtles; please remember to respect their space by maintaining a distance of at least 10 feet to follow Hawai'i state guidelines. The best time to whale watch is December to March—don’t miss this incredible experience! Your comfort is our priority, and we are equally committed to resource conservation. Please note that doors are equipped with monitors that may turn off the AC if left open, promoting energy efficiency while keeping your space comfortable.
